Our room was beautifully maintained and brand-new provided with good amenities and 3 single beds, for instance. The service offered was great.

The convenience of the underground pass connecting to JR Shinjuku station made exploring Tokyo a breeze. Despite the small toilet, the room was spacious with all amenities provided. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff here is excellent, providing fantastic service and ensuring a quick check-in process with good Wi-Fi available throughout the venue.

English widely-spoken. Maybe due to the high suicidal rate in Japan, they kinda wanna make sure you don't die in their rooms, so it's kinda mandatory for them to clean your room after 4 days even if you continuously put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. It's a good thing, I guess... The ramen store @ ground floor was about the only other good thing about this place.
Available exit from train station but still a lengthy distance away (got lost 3 out of 4 nights walking back to hotel without using underpass). Long passed it's glory days. Must be the it place for business travels back in the days, but now the room carpet smells, stuffs are coming apart, the toilet is yellow-ish (still clean enough though but hurt my knee twice when getting out of the tub). We almost used up the entire spray bottle of room deodorizer just to make it smell right. Staff friendliness is poor by japanese standards. Wouldn't have chosen it if known better.

the Shinjuku Washington Hotel Annex provided great value for the price. One major highlight was its convenient location, just a short walk away from Tochomae metro station. The room was equipped with a wide range of amenities, such as a flat-screen television, a writing table, and an electronic key card.

The price was excellent for the location, the location was close to the Shinjuku train station, good eating, and a tourist spot (Tokyo Metro Govt Building). The Family Mart was inside the hotel and was very convenient for snacks, water, drinks. The view from the Manhattan Grill was awesome!
The room was tiny, the bathroom was tiny, there was no airflow, and I couldn't open the window.

Location is perfect and has limo bus stop right in front of the hotel
One morning, I waited for the elevator for 15 mins and didn't come!!!! And I had to use emergency exit to use the stairs. Glad found elevator that is for transfer goods to use. Almost missed my bus to airport...

This hotel in the nishi-shinjuku area is perfectly located for exploring the bustling district of Shinjuku. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, offering a warm welcome and thoughtful amenities like welcome beers, water bottles, and late checkout membership cards. The rooms, although not the most spacious, are well-designed and include three twin size beds for larger groups or families. Additionally, the breakfast area provides amazing views of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, making for a delightful start to the day.
All aspects of this hotel were more than satisfactory.

Nothing at all. This is the worst hotel I have ever encountered in my stays in Japan.
I don't often write reviews, but this hotel was the worst experience of my trip. It was so dismall, and the rooms were so small, without air o windows or even a proper bathroom. I checked out in the morning and immediatly checked into the astina hotel, which really is a good hotel. If you are going to Japan avoid this hotel !!!!!!

The location details for the Hotel are misleading because it claims to be linked to the JR Shinjuku Station which it isn't. It is some distance away and not very easy to find

This hotel is a great value for money with its affordable prices. The location in the bustling Shinjuku business district is very convenient, just a short walk from Shinjuku station. The basic amenities and attentive staff make for a comfortable stay. The breakfast offers a stunning view of Shinjuku, overlooking the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
No major complaints, everything was satisfactory.

Big room and comfortable bed. Also, the Airport Limousine Bus connects it directly with both Narita and Haneda airports, so it's very convenient using this service
Rude staff. None of them speaks fluent english, so it's hard to communicate with them. The optional WI-FI in the room didn't work after I paid for it and no one in the hotel new how to solve this problem. They made me call the technical service myself, when I was a guest there. The staff don't want guests to bother them at all, so if you go and ask for help, they have an attitude. Very rude. Also, it's too far away from Shinjuku Station for tourist who want to make the most of their stay in Tokyo. You need to leave the hotel earlier than expected in your plans, since getting to the station takes between 15 and 20 minutes, depending of how crowded the streets are.

It's located not far from Shinjuku Station.
The room is in very very bad condition. We stayed at no-smoking room, but there was strong sigaret smell. The room was very dirty.

Overall the Hotel was great, The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel has an excellent range of restaurants on the basement floor that are really great value and best of all open til late. The room itself was quite comfortable and very clean. The hotel was only about a 10-15 minute walk or a short very cheap taxi ride to the Shinjuku train station and located near the quite prominent Metro building. We will definately stay here again when I travel back to Japan.
The laundry room was located in the adjacent building which had a smokers section right outside the room, so you were greeted by smoke. Although we asked for a non-smoking room, patrons were allowed to smoke in their own rooms and so we were exposed to smoke when going to and from the lift. We didn't request a room change because we assumed that every floor was the same.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
